Kalshi is launching a bold new promotion: a $1 billion Perfect Bracket Challenge tied to the men’s NCAA basketball tournament. The promotion promises a $1 billion prize for the top scoring bracket, a $1 million donation to charity, and a charitable tie-in with partners including iMentor and Devin Booker’s Starting Five. The event is backed by SIG Parametrics and is free to enter for verified Kalshi members.
Participants build a bracket predicting the winners of all 63 games in the NCAA tournament. While the odds of a perfect bracket are astronomical (roughly 1 in 9.2 quintillion if each game were a fair 50/50), experts estimate the average bracket accuracy around 67%, improving skilled predictions to roughly 1 in 120 billion. Kalshi converts this challenge into a public competition with clear scoring and terms.

The top prize is a mind-boggling $1,000,000,000 for a perfectly predicted bracket. The top scoring bracket earns $1,000,000, and Kalshi will donate $1,000,000 to charity as part of the promotion.
All terms and conditions are in the Official Rules. The promotion is free to enter and open to verified Kalshi members, 18+ US residents only. Certain states (New York and Florida) are excluded. Full rules can be read in the PDF linked on the page.
