The United States releases footage of a new airstrike against an Iranian aircraft.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) published a short video on March 12, 2026, showing a precise strike against an Iranian aircraft while it was on the runway. The footage, captured in infrared spectrum, shows the detonation followed by the aircraft catching fire.

In the accompanying message, CENTCOM stated: “The Iranian regime is losing air capability day by day. U.S. forces are not only defending against Iranian threats, we are methodically dismantling them.”

The video is part of a series of publications the command has been sharing amid the escalation of operations targeting Iranian military infrastructure.
